Imani Mack, PT, DPT, was a Division I track and field sprinter at Virginia Tech where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in health, nutrition, food and exercise in 2005. Dr. Mack earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from the University of Maryland at Eastern Shore, where she became interested in manual therapy techniques. She continued her training in functional manual therapy through the Great Lakes Seminars and the Institute of Physical Art, and incorporates those methods in her treatment approach. Dr. Mack has also undergone Functional Dry Needling Training with Kinetacore. By combining her extensive training in manual therapy with her experience as a sprinter, Dr. Mack uses her skill set to treat a wide-range of patients. She is passionate about helping clients improve function and educating them on how to prevent injury.
